Firstly I can't tell you exactly why the water mellons are crying, maybe its about seedless babies, maybe its about not having babies, I don't know.

What I can tell you is why bananas are seedless and how seedless water mellons are made. Its not genetic enginering in the "insert genes from something else, now my strawberries glow in the dark" kind of way. Seedless fruit is caused by having an od number of sets of chromosomes. This causes the division of cells into gamestes (unfertilized eggs or spermies) to fail. These failed gametes are the little balck specks in bananas and white shrived things in seedless water mellons. Polyploidy is naturally occuring, but we humans are the ones who cultivate it.

For more information, consult your nearest biologist, or Wikipedia.

That said, I really want this shirt. Congrats to the designer.

I haven't been scoring submissions here for very long, but it seems like the submissions from non-native english speakers has gone up. Which I think means there are more submissions from outside the US. (Plus the European plug submission.) Anybody know for sure? I think its great to see more stuff from outside the US! Keeps things from getting too "echo chamber"-y.

Incorrectly designed cephalopods make PZ Myers cry.

Other offenses to our poorly represented cephalopods include mouths where beaks should be, mouths where none should be, and far too many eyes scattered about. Please cease and desist.

Thank you.

PS. It was Myers post that brought me here originally.
PSS. I am being silly. Just in case you are immune to written sarcasm.

So please stop. Because when you use it that way, your ignorance is showing. We're all here to judge and when I get through with the shirts, your ignorant ass is just sitting there, begging for it.

Addendum:
So I was only mildly offended when I found some people on this site calling things gay in a clearly pejorative sense. Mostly I though "Stupid little shits." But then I thought, why should they sit around spouting that stuff and think that no one is offended, clearly I am, even if just a little. Hence the above post.

And then people started telling me to calm down, called me PC, told me to laugh more. People reacted like I was going to take away their free speech because I was horrendously offended by a three letter word.

But read that stuff above again. I'm not trying to be the PC police, or a victim of the harsh patriarchy. What I was trying to say was "Use gay in a pejorative sense, and I'm going to judge you as ignorant and then not take you seriously." Most of people don't care how some anonymous person on teh internets judges them anyway, I don't. Calm the fuck down people.

PS. Reclaim CUNT! Pussys are not wimpy, they're HOTT!

Just in case anyone is wondering what my slogan means, it means we're running out of oil!

I am going to say something here....

I don't like all the hipster shirts.
It's something about how there are so many submitted; they all kinda beld together. Black disjointed images over a splat or spray paint blob. The distressed look is popular. Someone commented on a recent one that it was derivative. The truth hurts. Besides, I know stores in malls where I could buy the same type of design.

I'm just not that social online. If you really want to talk to me, we can work something out, I do exist on the internet, just not as prolifically as many people here.

All about me
Not an artist or a designer, but that doesn't mean I can't have something intelligent to say about art. If you must know my degree is in biochemistry. I need a job so I can be more of a capitalist and less of a mooch.
