Wow.
When designs involve skulls, i quickly go for the zero because it's usually pretty uninspired. THIS on the other hand, is amazing. Great use of something that's usually overdone. 5$ |

Lots of praise for breathing new life into the worn out, over used skull cliché. As in, "I've never seen this before." Solid concept, beautifully rendered and one of few entries that actually expresses the "sex and death" contest theme. Bravo! $5

Like i said for the last month or so, skeletons made out of the environment around the shirt are the new straight-up skeletons! One of the berrer ones I've seen and certainly more subtle than the usual ones. Maybe a bit more work down with the kids and tree, but still a clear case of 4$.

I couldn't even tell wth i was looking at for a while because of the poor line weight difference going from tree to "skull". Its too sudden and I can barely see the roots on that black background. I suppose you could call it a good concept, but imo a poor execution.

ilovedoodle on Jul 26 '08 the poor line weight different? you mean part of the root thats above the ground which have brighter colour? i purposely did the root hide on the bg to express the danger hiding below the tree.

I really like the way the roots are hard to see at first and it's obviously intentional. Goody, sorry, but you obviously don't know what you're talking about because ilovedoodle always has incredible execution, just check out his body of work before making random, thoughtless comments.
